How old is too old to still be living at home with the 'rents?

My parents don't want me to move out before I get married. They've made it pretty clear.. and who knows when I'll married? The thing is though, even after I get married, I don't know if I'll be living on my own still. My grandma kind of told me that I shouldn't leave my parents after I get married (and sort of implied that we should all live together?!?!) but my dad overheard and said it was ok and not to listen to my grandma. lol. My family is pretty traditional.. but being Asian and all, what can you expect? We'll see what happens in the future..

What is your method of getting rid of hiccups?

Take 9 quick small sips of water.. then they're gone! Works EVERY time! Of course, the sips have to be continuous because if you get a hiccup while doing this, then you start from sip 1 again.

How young is too young to get married? Why?

I'd like to say no age is too young because if two people decide to get married and feel they are ready, then they should. BUT in the society we live in today and with the divorce rate being what it is, it would be best to wait until you're out of school and have somewhat of a steady job (even if it's not what you plan on doing for the rest of your life).

How long is too long to be put on hold in a phone conversation?

I've stayed on hold for more than 20 minutes one time.. I don't usually mind as long as the person comes back. When it happens, I tend to put them on speaker so I can do other things and it doesn't really feel like I'm being put on "hold". But if it's someone I think might actually forget about me, then I'll hang up.. eventually.. but I can't say I really know how much time has to elapse before I do.

When it comes to relationships, are you afraid of commitment?

I don't think so.. but what I am afraid of is the other person leaving. I take my commitments to everything I do pretty seriously but it's hard with relationships because you're not the only one involved and the other person may not be as committed as you are and that's what terrifies me.

Hmm.. I don't know. I don't usually wish for anything during Christmas. I like the time off I have from school work so I can hang out with friends and family. But I suppose there are some things I want (and may even end up getting for myself if the deals are good): bag (preferably strong enough to carry my laptop), camera (cause the one I have now is more than 5 years old), clothes... don't know what else..
